I use to work at a bank as a merchant teller for a little around five years. It was like the same routine, same people, same thing same thing all the time. I always tried to venture out and apply for other jobs but I was so stable in my position that I was scared to venture out. I traveled so much so I thought it would be amazing to apply for the airlines. Sooo, I got this job as a flight attendant around January of this year but I wasn't on line till April. I think since I was a young girl I've always dreamed of traveling the world, so what better way to do so while working all at the same time. I never really thought I'd actually become one so soon either, it was weird but yet a blessing. I applied last year and did not get it but they emailed me again this year and told me to re-apply and here I am today; a proud flight attendant for US Airways.
Everything is still fairly new to me but I'm learning, living, and loving each and every day of life. I believe my bad days become good days and no matter what I go through at the end of the day it's all what makes me who I am. I can't seem to stop giving thanks for all God has given me! It's far beyond what I need or want but it's all def what I can hang with =)
I have certain days off a month and since my benefits are amazing I don't think I could ever stop planning mini vacays. I'm in love with traveling, it's a way of getting out and relaxing and exploring and going outside of your box. You meet so many new people, you go to places that you didn't even know exist, and you have so much unexpected fun that it begins to make you completely and unconditionally happy. Well, I cant speak for all but I can speak highly on how I feel.
I planned on going to Italy a few weeks ago but since things didn't seem too planned or organized I flipped it around and decided to go back home. I normally go once a year and during the summer. Working at Bank Of America I only had two weeks of vacation a year so it limited me on traveling. I havn't been back home since last May. My brother William (18 years old) hadn't been back in six years, could you imagine? He complained a little because he wanted to go to Italy so bad plus he packed winter clothes only and that Cayman would always be around but to tell you the truth so will Italy and nothing else beats being with family. I live in Arizona but due to work i am based out of Philly. My brother met me in Philly and from there we decided last minute to go to Cayman. I've been so homesick lately having to live in Philadelphia I think coming back home was one of the most amazing decisions slash things that has happened to me this year.

I think it's an amazing feeling to come back home and just feel at peace with everything around you. It's exciting to see family you haven't seen in awhile and see their happy faces, smiles, and excitement they have to see you as well. Family is always first in my eyes. I think it's important to never forget where you come from and no matter what you go through where you came from will always be apart of you.
I'm sure I'll be sharing a lot more of Cayman Islands this year! Hope you enjoyed a few of my pics xoxo
